How does the laser work?
The laser heats the skin gently and painlessly without causing any damage. The heating causes new tightening fibres (collagen) to form in the tissue. Course of treatment
The treatment is outpatient and takes approx. 15-20 minutes. For the first treatment, 3 sessions at intervals of 4-5 weeks are recommended in order to achieve optimum results.
Costs
The costs of medical laser therapy are currently not covered by health insurance, although its effectiveness is undisputed as it is not yet included in the KVG. A laser therapy session costs CHF 500.
